The Darlington Cycle Challenge and 'Bike to Work and Win!' Challenge are part of 'Local Motion', a Darlington Borough Council initiative and run in partnership with CTC Challenge for Change.

Darlington is one of three UK locations chosen to push the boundaries of how people get around. Basically, the aim is to encourage as many people as possible to become creative with their travel choices. 'Local Motion’ is all about challenging the travel habits people have fallen into and encouraging them to try something new.
